How can you help?

P.A.W.S. was charted in 1974 as a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals, relief of suffering of animals, and humane education. P.A.W.S. is funded through tax deductible private donations. Income is also derived from fundraising projects.

Many of the animals received are unclaimed strays released to P.A.W.S. by the animal control after the mandatory impound period. Owner's relinquished animals are accepted on a space available basis. P.A.W.S. first commitment is to the stray or injured who receive no shelter, care or food.

P.A.W.S. needs the involvement of people who are genuinely concerned about animals. You can support by:

Sponsoring and patronizing fundraising activities.
Becoming a member of P.A.W.S.
Cash donations for daily care of the animals and purchases of shirts or gifts.
Donations of food and supplies.
Volunteering for shelter work, pet therapy, humane education and fundraising events.
Be a responsible pet owner.
